Instant Club Carlson Gold Elite Status for Free *UPDATE2*

Club Carlson is offering instant Gold Elite status for free for Jet’s Gold and Platinum members. But this offer is open for everybody and you can get the Gold status even if you're not a Jet’s Gold or Platinum member.

Update: I've done some research and it seems like you can match the Club Carlson Gold Elite Status with several other loyalty programs (no guarantee):

  • Club Carlson Gold Elite = Best Western Rewards Platinum Elite Status (Link)
  • Club Carlson Gold Elite = Hilton HHonors Gold Status (E-Mail to hhonors@hilton.com with a screenshot of your Club Carlson account) 
    • Update: Seems like its not that easy with HHonors but its worth to try it.
  • Club Carlson Gold Elite = Red Lion R&R Club Platinum Status (E-Mail to memberservices@redlion.com with a screenshot of your Club Carlson account)
Update2: Its working again. Just tried to register with a fake adress on the Seychelles Island and I got instantly Tier Level: Gold Elite.

        Probably you removed the promotion code, didn't used the link in the article or you didn't registered with a country in the Asia Pacific.

      maybe you THINK you get tier lever Red, because the picture they show is of that card, when you press "continue" you can see (small letters) that you actually have GOLD ELITE. Worked fine for me : )! THNX HP!

    How is the bonus points with online booking working? can i book 8 times the room online on 8 days after each other to have a continous stay, and get 16000 bonuspoints?

    Even if you see a red ribbon it doesn´t mean you have a Red Tier - go to "My account" you´ll see under Tier level it´s written "Gold Elite". Thank you guys!!!

      You need to send them your number of your club carlson account + screenshot of your status and they need to know your HH account number and best western account number.

    Worked for me, and I've emailed HHonors at Hilton & Best Western to get status match - hopefully it'll be fine. The UK Best Western site has a different form for UK rewards members FYI.

    It worked for me, I did it yesterday or the day before I don't remember.. I contacted the hotels for the upgrade and today Hilton answered me with this:

    Dear Mauro *****,

    Thank you for your inquiry regarding a status match. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us.

    Should you be at a higher level of membership with one of our hotel competitors, please reply with a copy of your 2011 end of year activity along with your HHonors number and we will review your HHonors account for a potential fast track offer.

    For the Best Western match, I got the Diamond level status, which is the highest for them. However, the benefits for it (as well as for all other programs) are very limited, if you don't live in the U.S. or Canada.

    Just tried, followed ALL instructions above (including singapore address, using link above, ensuring promo code is intact, etc) - and even after clicking through it only shows Red level membership.

    Deal dead?
