About the tour
Beginning in Cairo, this tour starts off on the right foot by taking travellers on a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza -- the last remaining one of the 'Seven Wonders of the World' and the Sphinx. You will be treated to an evening at the bazaar and shisha café. Take an overnight train through the countryside to Aswan and board a traditional felucca boat where you will set sail along the Nile towards Aswan. Stop at a Nubian village and enjoy a home-cooked dinner with locals, and take an optional trip to the temples of Abu Simbel.
Sail from Aswan to Kom Ombo and spend the night on the boat, under the stars, before disembarking at Luxor and taking some time to explore the city Lonely Planet calls an "extraordinary place" that is "breathtakingly beautiful". Finish with another overnight train back to Cairo where the tour ends.
