About the ship
This will be the Vasco de Gama's maiden voyage, having previously lived as P&O Australia's Pacific Eden for a number of years. The ship has had a full facelift and now has 3 restaurants with flexible sittings (meaning you can dine whenever and wherever you want), a number of bars and lounges and 2 swimming pools for ultimate rest and relaxation.
There is also a cinema, casino, card room, arts and crafts area, and ship’s library. Plus, there’s Cappuccino’s coffee shop and Gelato’s ice cream bar to tempt you
Cabins are all ensuite and feature twin or double bedding, storage and hanging space, as well as air-conditioning, tv, telephone, hairdryer and personal safe.
Starting in Singapore, the cruise visits Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, multiple stops in India (including the Taj Mahal), Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, multiple stops in Greece (including Santorini, Mykonos and Athens), Malta, multiple stops in Italy, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco and Portugal, before finishing in the UK.
For such a long cruise, covering such distance, we were pleasantly surprised that only 20 days are spent at sea. This gives travellers ample time to sightsee, explore or even just take in the views of these fascinating continents and countries.
