Things to do
There are heaps of interesting things to do in Oman. From buggying in the sand dunes, exploring the fascinating Forts of Nizwa or discovering the mesmerising Wadi Rum. All sorts of tours are available on Viator, as well as airport transfers, with prices starting from just £27 per person.
British nationals don't need to get a visa before travelling to Oman. You can get a visa on arrival at any land, sea or air entry port in the country. A 1-month tourist visa costs 20 Omani Rials (OMR) which is approximately £40. You can extend this by 30 days for a further OMR20.
