Hanoi is one of Vietnam's bustling central points. With countless local vendors selling all manner of wears, loads of street food stalls (including some of the best Banh Mi in the whole of the city) all within walking distance within Hanoi's Old Quarter, you'll never run out of things to see and do.
There are also plenty of opportunities to venture out of the city and see the sights of northern Vietnam. Halong Bay is just a 3 hour drive away and there are many companies around that offer boat tours and overnight cruises around the UNESCO site!
With a great location, within walking distance of a lot of Hanoi's hotspots, the Thien Thai Hanoi hotel is a great way to kick start your adventure
A rural district about 4 hours outside of Hanoi, Mai Chau takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You'll be staying at the stunning 4* Mai Chau Ecolodge, surrounded by mountains this is a nature lover's paradise.
Home of the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, Siem Reap is a buzzing city that fuses the ancient with the modern.
During your time in this historic city, you'll call the Saem Siem Reap home during your time here. Within close proximity of the temples but also within walking distance of the famous Pub Street, you get the best of both worlds. After a long day tomb raiding there is an outdoor pool in which you can unwind.
Made famous by its night markets this small town really comes to life after sun down. Traditional lanterns hang from every building illuminating the streets, people send candles in paper boats down the river giving the area a magical feeling. During the day the markets are still open, or you could take advantage of being close to the coast, hire a bike and ride to the beach for some R&R!
