About your stay
Located just 2 blocks from Columbus Circle and Time Warner Centre, The Watson Hotel is a great value hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Manhattan, without the expensive price tag. It's within easy walking distance of Times Square, Central Park or Rockefeller Centre.
There is a rooftop pool, although this will likely be closed in January; handy to know though if you do decide to travel in one of the warmer months as hotels in New York with rooftop pools are few and far between!
There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout. Rooms are air-conditioned, have an ensuite with toiletries, towels and a hairdryer, and there is a TV and coffee machine in each room also.
As you'll be flying into JFK Airport, you can catch a yellow cab from the airport to any Manhattan hotel for a flat $50, plus tolls and tipping. Alternatively, you can take the train into Midtown which should take approximately 50 minutes and costs about £10 per person, each way. Or you can pre-book your transfers in advance with Holidaytaxis and enjoy airport pickup and drop off.
