About your stay
Located just 2 blocks from Columbus Circle and Time Warner Centre, The Watson Hotel is a great value hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Manhattan, without the expensive price tag. This hotel has the added bonus of having a rooftop pool, which is free for guests to use. While it may be too cold in March, it would be perfect for a dip in June when temperatures can reach a sweltering 30 degrees in New York.
There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout. Rooms are air-conditioned, have an ensuite with toiletries, towels and a hairdryer, and there is a TV and coffee machine in each room also.
As you'll be flying into JFK Airport, you can catch a yellow cab from the airport to any Manhattan hotel for a flat $50, plus tolls and tipping. Alternatively, you can take the train into Midtown which should take approximately 50 minutes and costs about £10 per person, each way. Or you can pre-book your transfers in advance with Holidaytaxis and enjoy airport pickup and drop off.
