Whether you have received your Hogwarts letter or not, everyone is invited to enjoy 'Godrick's Hollow', or, as it is more commonly known as, Lavenham in Suffolk.

The area shot to fame with the release of the Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows series as it was use as the backdrop to the 'Godrick's Hollow' scenes. Or, for you muggles out there, Harry Potter's place of birth and where, as a youngster, he came face to face with 'He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named'. Lavenham is a quaint little village in the heart of Suffolk, not accessible by broomstick, just south of Bury St Edmunds. Surrounded in history and interesting architecture, this is the perfect place to switch off from the hubbub of modern life.

In The De Vere House, you will be staying in 1 of 2 four poster rooms - with a shared bathroom. You may not find cauldrons stashed in the corners, or eye of newt in the cupboard, however, the property offers a tranquil escape yet keeps the muggle essentials like WiFi. Prices start at £150 per night.
