Mateys, the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived: THE CANARY ISLANDS ARE BACK ON THE SAFE LIST! Joining Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and the other Canaries on the quarantine-free list are The Maldives, Denmark and stunning Mykonos.
These changes come into place on from 4am on Sunday 25th October, meaning passengers arriving back in the country from these destinations will no longer need to self-isolate for 2 weeks.
Grant Shapps the Secretary of State for Transport tweeted: "UPDATE: Following an assessment of the latest data, the Canaries, the Maldives, Denmark and Mykonos have been ADDED to the #TravelCorridors list. From 4am on Sunday 25th Oct, you will no longer need to self-isolate if you arrive from those destinations."
He followed with: "The latest data indicates we need to remove Liechtenstein from the Travel Corridors list. From 4am on Sunday the 25th October, you will need to self-isolate if you arrive from there."
