As of today (Tuesday 10th March, 2020) Ryanair have cancelled all flights to and from Italy as well as flights within Italy up until April 8th. This decision comes following the announcement that the Italian Government have decided to extend the 'lock down' in Italy from just the north to the whole country to try to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
From midnight on Friday 13th March until midnight on Wednesday 8th April all Italian International flights with Ryanair will be suspended, and from midnight on Wednesday 11th March until midnight on Wednesday 8th April all Italian domestic flights with Ryanair will be suspended.
If your flight has been affected, Ryanair will send you an email to inform you and give you the choice of a full refund, transfers to another flight, or a travel credit that you can use to book alternative Ryanair flights within the next 12 months.
If you are stuck in Italy and need to return to the UK, please get in touch with Ryanair asap to see what options are available to you.
If your flight has been cancelled, the airline will notify you via e-mail or SMS and give you the option to request a refund or rebook the flight for free. If not, your flight is currently scheduled normally.
