Tired of your office job? Dreaming of spending your days on a tropical island? Then we have the job for you!
The Low Isles, two tropical islands nestled in the gorgeous Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, are looking for a caretaker. The job will require maintaining island infrastructure for things like solar panels and buildings, as well as staying in contact with tourist operators, and other small tasks like minding the native plants.
The islands are just 15km from Port Douglas, Queensland, and are marked by the nearby reefs, perfect for snorkeling. There larger island is populated only by wild birds, and the smaller features a 19th-century lightstation. When you're not working on keeping the island in shape, there is a whole ocean of reefs and sea life to explore.
