Pirates, you know we're always on the search for the best deals in travel from the most basic hostel to high-end hotels. This one's quite high-end.
Richard Branson has opened up one of his favourite homes - Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands (of course!). Want to have a nosey? Click here!
If you book the whole island for yourself, you won’t be the only ones on the island. The island has a few permanent guests including lemurs, flamingos, tortoises and iguanas!
Currently, there are selected weeks throughout the year when you can book an individual room (usually you have to book the whole island) which brings the price of paradise down by a lot.
It's still quite expensive though, with the lowest price we could find being $5,279 per night. And there's a 3-night minimum. Still, if you've saved some beer money during lockdown, this would be a pretty cool way to blow it.
The big price tag includes all your meals and drinks, transfers, not one but TWO infinity pools, water sports equipment (incl. windsurfing, kite surfing, water skiing, snorkelling and more), DJ for one night and much more.
There are only 3 villas on the island which can cater up to 40 people. So, if you want to book a room, you don’t need to worry about the island being crowded with strangers.
Especially since the island has a massive 74 acres, it has plenty of space for some quiet sunbathing and relaxing in one of the pools!
Each villa is a little different but they are all pretty spectacular, with 180-degree sea views, day beds, private hot tubs and stunning terraces.
