Ahoy Pirates! The winds may still be howling and the rain may still be falling all over England but never fear, festival season is just around the corner! We've been working hard on our ultimate list of music festivals in 2015 which will be sure to please all of you; from the most chilled out hippie to the most hard-core partier! There are plenty of great UK festivals coming up this year but we have also included a few festivals in Europe in case any of you globetrotting festival goers fancy escaping the rain for good!Content

Greenfield Festival is held just outside of the small town of Interlaken in Switzerland, Greenfield festival has quickly become a mecca for festival goers into punk, metal and rock and the 2015 festival has one of the best line-ups to date!
Date: 11th - 13th June
Ticket Price: 150 CHF (approximately £105)
Headliners: Slipknot, Lamb of God, Motorhead, The Gaslight Anthem, In Flames, and others.
Style: Metal, Punk and Rock
The ultimate Rock and metal UK music festival. Three days of mayhem. Famed for plenty of big names, big guitars, overflowing beers and leather, lots of leather! Hear those Marshall amps turned up to 11!
Date: 12th - 14th June
Ticket price: £205 including camping
Headliners: Kiss, Muse, Slip-knot
Style: Metal and Rock
Glasto needs no introduction, it's the mother of all festivals and an experience not to be missed. If you could only choose one festival to go to in your whole lifetime this would be it, regardless of musical preference. Getting glastonbury tickets is notoriously difficult so be sure to check in with the Glasto site frequently.
Date: 24th - 28th June

Style: Contemporary Music (a little bit of everything!)
This huge open air festival is held in Denmark and was Denmark's first real music-oriented festival, originally the festival was for hippies but today it covers more of the mainstream youth from Scandinavia, it's a truly unique festival in that all of the profits made are donated towards worthy causes.
Date: 27th June - 4th July
Ticket Price: 8 day festival ticket for approximately £200
Headliners: Disclosure, Muse, Florence and the Machine, Pharrel Williams, The Gaslamp Killer Experience and many more.
Style: Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, Electronica
Exit is an award-winning summer music festival which won 'Best European Festival' in 2014. Exit runs hand in hand with the popular Sea Dance Festival so, if your keen, it's possible to arrange for an entire week of festival goodness! Exit started off as a student protest movement fighting for democracy in the Balkans and, even today, Exit still has a strong social mission.
Date: 9th - 13th July

Style: Rock, Metal, Dance and a little bit of everything else!
The major music festival for Scotland, T in the Park has been described as "a rite of passage for young Scots and a ritual for older ones"

One of the most famous festivals in all of Europe, Tomorrowland is held in Belgium and is a firm favourite with fans of electronica. Over the last few years, Tomorrowland has become one of the most popular music festivals worldwide. Tickets tend to sell out extremely fast and it's no surprise - with top bands, awesome stages and psychedelic patterns galore, Tomorrowland is one of the best parties you will ever attend!

Located in the heart of Budapest in Hungary, Sziget Festival is one of the biggest European festivals around and features big names from all corners of the music industry. Sziget is not just about music, as it offers several other cultural programs including a theatre, circus and multiple exhibitions. The festival also has a beach section where fans can truly enjoy the summer and the Danube.
Date: 10th - 17th of August

One of the fastest growing and certainly one of the most unique festivals in all of the UK, BoomTown has multiple districts which have totally different themes and music genres, which one will you pick to set-up in and call home?

Headliners: Flogging Molly, Infected Mushroom, Gogol Bordello, Caravan Palace, Streetlight Manifesto and many more.
Style: Ska, folk, gypsy, reggae, world, punk, disco, electro-swing, jazz, breaks, bass and techno
Reading music festival has become a massive hit in the festival calendar with tens of thousands of revellers attending every year. The event is held in 2 locations over 2 days and artists perform at both swapping on each night.
Date: 28th - 30th August

Headliners: Metallica, Jamie T, Mumford and Sons.
Style: Rock, alternative, indie, punk and metal
Rock en Seine is an annual French festival which takes place just outside Paris, in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud; this is where French kings used to hunt deer and is famous for it's lavish fountains and gardens - the perfect place to have a rock festival as far as France is concerned!

Bestival should be on every avid festival goers bucket list, this 4 day whirlwind of top acts is held on the Isle of Wight. Bestival was nominated for 'Best Major Festival' and 'Best Dance Event' at the 2014 UK Festival Awards.
