Hello! Is it brie you're looking for...?
Pirates, we couldn't imagine a world without cheese. Truly, at any time of day, in any of its beautiful forms, cheese is a grate addition to all dishes.
But in South Korea, this was the reality until fairly recently, with cheese only entering its gastronomic landscape in the last few decades.
To celebrate how the dairy delight upped the country's gastronomy game, the Imsil Cheese Theme Park was opened in 2004.
You read right - that's a whole theme park dedicated entirely to cheese.
(Photo credit: Facebook - koreatourismmanila)Yep - we're pretty fond(ue) of the sound of this already.Attractions in the 32 acre theme park include learning about cheese, making your own variety and trying different kinds, in addition to a range of cheese-themed rides. The buildings are designed to look like cheese wedges, there's a cheese castle, as well as cheesy shops for all your purchasing needs. Yassss.
We're sure we don't need to tell you this, either, but the food on offer is equally spoilt for indulgently cheesy ingredients.
What better way to spend a gouda day out in the south Korean countryside?

So get packing your bags (and your crackers) and tell your favourite fromage fan that there's a new spot to indulge the cheese love!
Top tip: if you plan in advance, you could even book a room at The Stilton.
(ok, ok, we're done)
