We all need a good laugh from time to time, especially in 2020. This incredible story comes straight to us from Yellowstone National Park located in the USA and spreading across several states. An individual from Idaho has recently been banned from setting foot in Yellowstone National Park for the next two years!
But what could have called for such drastic action against one man, we hear you ask...
Park rangers were informed of a group of three people heading towards the Shoshone Geyser Basin with cooking pots. After arriving at the scene, officials found two whole chickens inside a burlap sack floating in the thermal spring. Yes, that's right, this individual was caught trying to cook two whole chickens in a hot spring. We kid you not!
Yellowstone National Park covers nearly 2.2 million acres of wilderness atop a volcanic hot spot covering three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. One of the USA's first National Parks, Yellowstone offers spectacular canyons, rivers, lush forests, hot springs, and gushing geysers; including the most famous: Old Faithful. It is also home to hundreds of animal species including bears, wolves, bison, moose, and antelope, and is one of the most famous and interesting National Parks in America.
We highly recommend taking a trip there if you haven't already, just leave the chicken at home. Or, rent an Airbnb (like this great group stay from £170* per night between 4). This villa is jaw dropping-ly beautiful and not that much more expensive than one would expect from a hotel - roast chicken not included!
