Pirates, we've all been there: a "quiet one" at the pub turns into a full-blown night out, after which you wake up somewhere that definitely isn't your own bed.
Indeed, when you're under the influence, there's no predicting where you might end up - as demonstrated by the poor bloke who fell asleep after a few drinks and woke up 800km away.
The offender in question is a baggage handler for Piedmont Airlines, who fell asleep in the forward cargo hold of the plane. He then remained for the duration of the flight from Kansas City to Chicago.According to USA Today, the man told police he was drunk early Saturday morning before work (never a good idea...) and decided to catch a few Zs among the luggage inside a 737.
No kidding, pirate.
