Sony joins the global campaign to support everyone staying home and launches the Play At Home initiative, thanks to which you can get hold of some of their games completely free of charge and keep them forever.

For now they have released two games, Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, in reality they would be four games since the latter consists of three different adventures.

Until now, Sony was giving away an average of two games a month, or more, to its PlayStation Plus subscribers, but this initiative is intended for all users, whether they have the plus subscription or not.

In appreciation to all who do their part to minimise the impact of this pandemic, Sony Interactive Entertainment is proud to present the Play at Home initiative.

This initiative has two objectives: the first, to provide free games to keep the PlayStation community entertained at home; and second, to create a fund to help independent gaming studios that may be experiencing financial difficulties to continue to create great experiences for all players.

On the other hand, in addition to thinking about users, Sony has also thought about independent developers and has dedicated a $10 million fund to support them through these difficult times.
