Could summer holidays to Greece still go ahead? That is what the Greek minister for travel is hoping. He states that he is 'hopeful for a semi-normal summer' tourism wise.

This information comes off the back of the UK's strong vaccination project that has already seen millions vaccinated against COVID-19. It is in discussion that Greece will allow those who have been vaccinated to enter Greece and it's islands without a negative test.

This comes after Greece and Israel have already agreed inoculated people will be allowed to move freely between the two countries when travel restarts due to Israel's leading vaccine program.

Of course, tourism boards and health ministers are urging countries to be cautious but also notes that there is no reason to waste resources (COVID tests) on those who have already had their jab.
