If the thought of at least 3 more weeks of lockdown is starting to get you down, we're here to throw you a life raft in the form of a virtual dolphin experience.
'Dolphin assisted therapy' can help those with mental struggles like depression and anxiety, the non profit organisation, Dolphin Swim Club, filmed pods of bottlenosed dolphins over the course of 7 days as part of a research project.
They decided to then share their film during lockdown to aid the anxieties many of us are going through, but also for those who aren't able to travel during 'normal' times. It also acts as a cruelty free alternate experience to swimming with them in captivity.
So, strap on your VR headset, check out the video below and relax as you blissfully 'swim' amongst these beautiful creatures. Don't worry if you don't have a headset, the film can be enjoyed in 2D too.
If you're stuggling with anxiety through this tough time there are a number of charities that can help.
