De Vere House is located in the quaint Suffolk village of Lavenham, which was transformed into the enchanting village of Godric's Hollow for the filming of Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows Part One. The scenes in the village were filmed under strict secrecy at the time, but is now a hotspot for film fans - rumour has it that the door of Potter's childhood home is the second most photographed in the UK, closely followed by 10 Downing Street.

The 12th century building is where Harry lived as a baby and where his parents were murdered by Voldemort, earning him that famous scar. It is first seen on the big screen when Harry goes to visit his parents' graves and their former homes in Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows Part One.

As for the holiday cottage opposite the famous home, we would definitely Slyther-in given the chance.
