Pirates, fly direct between Edinburgh and London on the new Ryanair route for cheaper than taking the train!

With train prices on the rise and recent strikes, this new budget airline option is a great way to travel between the two. The flight time is just over an hour and prices start from £27* return. We checked similar timed train prices for the same dates and they were over £100.

There's lots of availability for June and Summer, December dates are a bit more expensive but last year we saw these from £19* return so it might be worth waiting.

The flight times mean you could even fly there and back in the same day to save on hotel costs.
