This flight hack started with a colleague saying that she would love to go to Hawaii, but the flights are always so expensive, it just wasn't feasible. A quick google showed that flights are around £800+ per person and include at least one layover on the West Coast of the USA.
Recently, we've run some cheap direct flights to San Francisco, and we often see cheap flights to Hawaii from there, so why not pair them together and get time in both destinations, instead of spending hours in the airport on a layover? The best part is that this hack is totally flexible.
The cheapest prices we found were for March and spring dates from £502* return. First, you'll book direct return flights to San Francisco. Next, you'll book flights to Hawaii from San Fran.
✈️ We found options to fly to either Maui or Honolulu.
This price is for flights only, so you'll still have to research where you'd like to stay. We've given you two example dates, but this hack is easy to mix and match dates that work for you.
