New NYC Harry Potter mega store

Pirates, you know we love Harry Potter and we are super excited to share with you some exciting news! A giant Harry Potter store opened on 3 June in New York City. Taking inspiration from the best-selling books and movie franchise, the store closely resembles the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter", and offers magical finds like personalized cloaks, customized wands, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and more.

Potter fans can find the magical three-storey, 1,800 square-metre megastore on 935 Broadway in Manhattan, which is said to house the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products under one roof.

“This [is] the largest dedicated Harry Potter store in the world and will become a must-visit fan destination where Harry Potter enthusiasts can engage with interactive experiences and numerous photo opportunities as they step into the magic,” reported Sarah Roots, senior vice president of worldwide tours and retail for Warner Bros.

What can fans expect?

The new store features many interactive games and activities throughout the store with a total of 15 different themed areas.

Members of the Harry Potter Fan Club, for example, can search for enchanted keys to unlock exclusive behind-the-scenes facts, figures, and videos that will bring the store to life. The store also offers virtual reality experiences which allow customers to experience life in Hogwarts. The store also features a Butterbeer bar so fans can enjoy the tasty drink in draft or bottle form or as an ice cream flavour.
