Good news for you! A NEW app has just been launched that will make the process of applying for an electronic visa to enter the United States much easier.
You'll be able to follow all the steps of the application directly from your smartphone!
Brand-new official app launched
The new app for applying for ESTA, the electronic visa to enter the US, has just been released and is available for 40 countries.
It is still possible to apply for ESTA using the old method, from the official website (be wary of third-party sites, though -- using those can mean you'll pay extra fees).
Through the app it is possible to:
start an ESTA application
scan an image of your passport (which will be read and confirmed)
upload a live video selfie to confirm your identity
add personal and travel details to the application
answer eligibility questions
review and submit your application
make changes or updates to your application or profile
receive notifications and updates on the status of your application
save time by storing your preferences and profile details
