Mateys, if you've ever looked to go to the Big Apple during December then you'll know it's one of the most expensive times to visit - prices skyrocket as demand is at its highest during the festive period.

But, we have found direct flights with Norse from £300 return. This price is very rare, with direct routes in December usually being well over £400.

Hotel prices are already pretty high for December, and you can usually expect to pay a minimum of £150 per night for a 4-star hotel in Manhattan. BUT, we've also managed to find a reasonably-priced, well-reviewed guest house in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for £73 a night, to make this trip a very affordable £554.
