Mateys, if you're still looking to explore somewhere different in 2024, we've found some really decently-priced flights from London to Delhi, India -- saving you around 34% vs usual ticket prices for this period. You'll get 10 full days of exploring the best spots of Northern India.
India is not for the faint-hearted, but, having been myself when I was 19, I can say the chaos just adds to its charm. It really is one of the most striking places in the world, and it's a bit different from your standard backpacking trip around Thailand or Australia!
Delhi is located in a region called Rajasthan - the desert region - and is a part of the popular tourist circuit that connects the national capital with Agra (where the Taj Mahal is) and Jaipur. These three cities make up the Golden Triangle. Since you no doubt will want to visit the most iconic symbol of India - the Taj Mahal - when you go, I'd suggest you'd visit these three cities as a basis for your trip.
In September, temperatures will have started to cool again, and the rainy season is coming to an end, so you won't have as many showers, plus by avoiding October–March, there will be fewer crowds, so this is a great time to visit.
We've put together some great value flight and hotel options, to get you started with your epic trip.
The first option is to fly from London Heathrow from £318. This route is great value, considering flights around the same period usually reach the £450 mark. The stop doesn't even add too much extra time (especially on the way there), so we think these are the best option, particularly if you're travelling on a shoestring.
Example date: 12–24 September, 2024
We get it - time is money, and since you can go direct with Air India from £373 🤯, it'd almost be rude not to. It'll also give you a full 2 weeks to discover this incredible country.

Here's a great option for budget travellers who want to have a good night's sleep without breaking the bank! It's £9 for a double room... that's cheaper than a main meal in London! We found that a bed in a dorm room at most decent hostels is a similar price too.

We might be pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. However, with deals this hot, things change quickly—flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. But mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. If you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry, we’re working on more great offers.
