Pirates, we LOVE Croatia as a travel destination and we love cheap ways to explore this beautiful country off the beaten track even more.
We found cheap Ryanair flights to the pretty city of Osijek in Slavonia in May and June for around £30 return. The region is less well-known compared to its coastal cousins Dalmatia and Istria, hence the cheaper flights in early summer.
Head over and explore the city and surrounding region. Expect cobbled streets, castles, good food and lots of history, plus there's a National Park not far if you're into hiking.
We've paired these flights with a great-value hotel stay to give you a better idea of the cost. Four nights, including a 4-star hotel stay with breakfast would cost you from £172 in June. You could go even cheaper if you book a local apartment.

How to get there?
Ryanair have reinstalled their flights to Osijek since last year. They're flying twice a week (Monday and Friday) between May and October.
