Mateys, you're going to want to visit Taiwan before it gets too popular. One of our pirates went a few months ago and can't stop talking about how underrated this Asian country is --she even wrote a separate post about it!
Lucky for you, we've spotted return direct flights to the capital, Taipei, in June from £621.
Direct return flights to Taipei often go for between £780-950 in June, so this is a great saving in itself, but considering they can jump up to well over £1.5k in their peak monsoon season (which coincides with our summer holidays), we really think this is a steal.
What's the catch? June is technically in their monsoon season. But, their rainy season starts in the south and migrates North, so you're less likely to be affected by it in Taipei than other areas of the country in early June. Plus, this is technically their "plum period" meaning rainfall often comes in short sharp bursts, or doesn't come at all.
