EasyJet soon to fly to Akureyri from Gatwick – and fares are hot 🔥
From £47 pp
EasyJet are launching a new route from Gatwick to Akureyri in Iceland on 31 October.
There are two reasons why this matters:
These are the first-ever direct flights from the UK to North Iceland, a part of the island that has, until now, remained relatively undiscovered
The fares are looking HOT, with return tickets from £47
Already been to Iceland? Not interested? Hang on a second. We can pretty much guarantee that everything you've visited is in the south of the island. And there are stunning places in the north too including:
Hvítserkur sea stack (pictured above)
Aldeyjarfoss waterfall (first picture in the gallery below)
Arctic Henge (second picture in the gallery below)
Ásbyrgi canyon (third picture in the gallery below)
Goðafoss waterfall (fourth picture in the gallery below)
The cheapest return fare is £47 to travel in January:
But we found a lot more options for £80 or less in November, December, January and February:
We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
