When you think of cheap holiday destinations, we're fairly certain St Lucia doesn't spring to mind. You'd expect to pay over a grand for a week there, including flights.

But, they don't call us HolidayPirates for nothing. We have put together a DIY week in St Lucia for £409. That's what you'd expect to pay for a week in Benidorm.

How is this possible? TUI has some incredible last minute prices on direct return flights from £291 (around £400 cheaper than normal prices) and we have scoped out some basic (but well rated) accommodation that costs £34 a night, which is £17 per person, per night.
