Pirates, if El Nido isn't already on your bucket list, then you're mad. It's all over Instagram and for good reason, the dramatic limestone cliffs, the aqua blue water and lush green palm trees make it the epitome of paradise.

Trips to El Nido are tricky to put together and can be very pricey as a result. Seriously, the cheapest pre-packaged trip to El Nido that we can find is over £8k! 😱 So, we've done the hard work for you... and found you a way to do it on a budget.

We've paired return flights from £481 in mid-March (their best season for weather!) with twelve nights in a bamboo bungalow at El Nido Coco Resort. The price of £1,090 includes breakfast and internal return flights too.

If you're looking for a straight-forward trip, then this isn't the one for you. After you land in Manila, you'll have to get a domestic flight to El Nido. BUT it's worth it to spend twelve nights in paradise. Trust me, when I went, I flew to Puerto Princesa and then got a 5-6 hour bus to El Nido (because it was cheaper...) and it was STILL worth it.

There are four steps to this DIY booking (detailed below), so make sure you complete them all to have the best trip to El Nido! 👇

Details

Dates: 8–22 March, 2025 (including travel days)

Duration: 12 nights in El Nido

Departure airport: London

Hotel in El Nido: El Nido Coco Resort (4/5 rating on Tripadvisor)

Price breakdown:

£911 (hotel) / 2 (people sharing) = £455.50 + £481 + £153 = £1,089.50 per person for 12 nights

How to book:

1. Book the flights to Manila

The first option is to fly from London Heathrow to Manila with Air China from £471 return. You'll have a stop in China both ways, but there are no direct options and usually flights in this period are £100 more than this or are 30 hours +.

Example date: 8–22 March, 2025

2. Book the domestic flights from Manila to El Nido

Example dates: 9–21 March 2025

3. Book the resort for El Nido

This is the best value resort we've found. You'll stay in a private 2-person bungalow at the resort, which has a pool and the price includes breakfast.

Always book by clicking the "our lowest price" button, instead of the first option.

The dates will be 9–21 March 2025 for this accommodation, as you will need to overnight in Manila before getting your flight back to London the next morning.

4. Book a hotel in Manila for your final night before you head back home using the widget below.

Additional Information

We might be pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. However, with deals this hot, things change quickly—flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. But mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. If you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry, we’re working on more great offers.
