Four guests can stay for three nights over a weekend in November or December, starting from £355 -- doing the same trip during the summer is nearly £600. Sure, the weather might not be as sunny but let's be honest, the weather is rarely good in the UK whatever the date.

The open-plan geodome is right on the water's edge with a private decked area. Inside there's a king size bed, a single bed and a hammock bed suitable for children plus a 50" TV.

There's a separate shower room and kitchen.
