Pirates, we've been on the lookout for affordable weekend staycations and we've come across this quirky little farmhouse courtyard cottage-style stay in Cornwall, which would make a perfect break for a couple.

If you were to go Friday until Sunday it'd be £137 in total for two people, which is a great price compared to hotel prices for the area. Weekday and weekend prices are the same, too, which is rare.

The cottage is a 10-minute drive from Porthoustock Beach, there's a fire pit in the garden and lovely countryside around. Please note, shower and toilet are across the courtyard, so not just nextdoor from the bedroom.

This Airbnb has made stays flexible, so you don't have to stay for two nights. You can stay for one night from £69 total.
