Eight guests can stay for four nights from £79* per booking (was £209) -- that works out to a tenner per person for a 4-night stay.

Not sure about staying in a caravan? Once upon a time, we might have agreed with you but these days they are modern and lush with proper living rooms, kitchens and bathroom as well as heating and all the mod cons you'd want for a comfortable stay.

Also, it's worth noting that the Isle of Wight is very easy to get to -- you can hop on a ferry from in a car or on foot from Lymington, Southampton or Portsmouth and they run regularly.
