The best thing about Chamonix is that it's a year-round destination. It's both a legendary winter ski resort and an epic place to hike in the sunnier months, so this hotel is the perfect place to lay your head throughout the year. According to Chamonix's tourism board*, if you went on the same dates this year, there would be two lifts open for the summer season already. So, it's likely that the lifts will be open next year too. Otherwise, there are plenty of hikes that you don't need a lift for.
