Details
Located in the French Alps, in Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle there is accommodation that resembles a bird's nest – only much, much larger and certainly with more comfort.
The Cabane entre terre et ciel, which translates to 'hut between heaven and earth', is located between treetops in the Rhône-Alpes region. From the treehouse, you'll be only 50 kilometres to Chamonix on Mont Blanc.
In addition to a stunning view, the treehouse is also beautifully furnished. Inside, a comfortable double bed awaits you, from which you'll also have a view of the outdoors.
The architect places a great emphasis on comfort and natural elements of the treehouse to blend in with its surroundings.
Enjoy a complimentary breakfast from the roof terrace of the treehouse, while looking over the treetops and listening to the birds.
A night stay in the Cabane entre terre et ciel, which is rated 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor, usually costs around £300 per night in the summer months. While it is a bit more on the expensive side, we definitely think it deserves a spot on your holiday wish list! Alternatively, you can also book the more affordable Cabane dans les arbres RUISSEAU which sleeps 5 from £365 per night (or £73 per person, per night).
