Pirates, Dubai might seem a pricey city, but there are still cheap places you can stay.

If you are looking for luxury, this ain't for you. This is a very affordable hostel, ideal for solo travellers, backpackers or couples trying to keep their budget down. The double room you'd stay in has a bed, wardrobe and you'd have to use the shared bathrooms.

Cloud9 Hostel does have free Wi-Fi, a pretty decent view of Dubai's skyline which you can see from the terrace, and very good transport links since the Baniyas Metro Station & bus station are close by. The hostel is located in the old part of Duabi, so you're not far from the Spice Souk and Abra Dock where you can catch a boat tour of the city.
