Pirates, stay over night at Port Lympne Reserve in Kent and feel a bit like in Africa!

Glamping stays in romantic pods not far from the lion enclosure are now 20% discounted and start from £64* per person this autumn and winter. This package comes with access to two safari parks, Port Lympne Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park.

You can look forward to an animal-action packed break! You can even go on a truck safari (pre-booking required). The pods sleep up to four people, so you can book this as a a family break too - meaning this could cost as little as £32* per person for a family of four (that's cheaper than just buying day-time entry to both parks!).

The lead price is available on all dates in December, but there are more discounted dates in October and November. AND, in October, you can also get the 20% discount on stays in a Bear Lodge or Giraffe Lodge. These are very limited dates and when they're gone, they're gone. Giraffe Lodges have dinner and breakfast included and Bear Lodges sleep bigger groups of up to 8 people.

Where are you going to stay?

Pinewood Pods are self-catered, wooden lodges. They are heated (so no worrying about colder nights in autumn or winter). They sleep up to 4 people (2 single beds and a double futon). Communal shower rooms and toilets are in a separate building on-site. Theres's a games room and a communal fire pit to toast some marshmallows and sip hot chocolate under the stars.

The pods are located just 50 yards away from lions and tigers with amazing views of the Romney Marsh. You'll get access to the reserve before/after the general public so you can see the animals at dawn and dusk. With your stayover you either get an additional day entry to Howletts Wild Animal Park (Port Lympne Reserve's sister park) or a second day at Port Lympne.
