Brand new for 2021: Spa Jubilation, Raywell Hall Country Lodges, Yorkshire

This six-person lodge is super hot, having been newly opened in 2021. As well as having a deluxe interior, including a 65-inch TV (for movie nights), the exterior is perfect for those with pooches, since it comes with a fenced patio area.

That means you can chill on the Cabana day bed, soak in the hot tub or fire up the BBQ with your loving hound safely enclosed. You can bring two pets with you here for £49 per pet!

The lodge is located in the grounds of a 19th-Century manor house at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds Way, so picturesque villages and countryside adventures are a moment away.

You'll find the best prices for this lodge in January, but February and March also offer great value at almost half the cost of summer!

Newly refurbished: Foxhollow, Faweather Grange lodges, Yorkshire

A fresh makeover of this Yorkshire log cabin makes this a particularly lustworthy place to stay. Have a doze on one of the hanging chairs, soak in the hot tub and look out onto the woodland valley: paradise.

The cabin sleeps six, and the deep hot tub and real log fire will ensure that whoever stays has an experience to remember. For doggos, two pets are allowed at £60 each.

10-miles from Leeds, the area is perfect for outdoorsy types, with bike rides, hikes and golf courses all located nearby. January offers the best value for a visit, though spring dates are only approximately £200 more.

Overwater hot tub lodge: Over The Pond, Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, Shropshire

This stunning lodge in Shropshire overlooks a pretty pond and comes with its own covered outdoor hot tub.

A big open plan living room means your pooch has plenty of room to stretch out and curl up by the wood-burning stove. Pets can stay (one max) for £45.

Sitting on 17-acres of parkland, the lodge is an ideal hideaway. There's untouched countryside waiting to be explored, and National Trust properties to discover as well as the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage centre.

You can bag a bargain by booking in January!

Luxury lakeview lodge: Tranquility Lodge Spa, Twin Lakes Country Club in Tewitfields, Lancashire

This absolute beauty in Lancashire is a two-story, open plan lodge with a lake view. Full kitchen, three bedrooms (sleeps six) and an outdoor hot tub - swanky!

Two pets are allowed here, for £25 per week or short break (each).

The lodge is located in the Twin Lakes Country Club, close to the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Kirkby Lonsdale. With all that open space, you can bet your doggo will thank you with a few slobbery kisses.

Spring dates, late February to March, offer the best value.

Stay in a Tunnock's wafer: Lochgoilhead, on the Drimsynie Estate, Southern Highlands

Yup, if you didn't already know, you can actually stay in a Tunnock's Wafer caravan in Scotland: for reals. The three-bedroom caravan is modern, cosy and sleeps up to six!

The icing on the cake is that your pup can join you, with one pet max allowed at £35 per week or short break.

On site there are plenty of activities to enjoy, from archery, spa pampering to evening entertainment. Just outside the property, the highlands landscapes are perfect for that dramatic walk with your canine friend.

Right now you can get fantastic deals on last-minute dates in November-December and great value all the way through until March 2022.

Stylish Welsh pod: Studio pod, Maesmawr Farm Resort,

This Welsh wonder pod has everything you could need from a staycation: hot tub, countryside location and a large decking area. The pod sleeps four, but can just as easily function as a little love nest for couples.

Of course, your doggy is also welcome, with two pets allowed at a very reasonable £15 per week each (max two).

Nestled among the countryside of Montgomeryshire - with farms and wild meadows all around - anyone with a love of the outdoors will feel at home here. Explore the rambling trails, Roman heritage sites and local vineyards, or just enjoy the calm and quiet.

There's availability to get a great price on a last-minute getaway in December for excellent value. However, the lodge is still good value all the way until the end of March when prices start to increase.

Hilltop lodge in Sussex: Swanborough Lakes Lodges in Lewes, East Sussex

The East Sussex countryside is just gorg, so a modern lodge looking out onto this landscape will always be a winner. Four, very lucky, people can enjoy this high-quality accommodation with its floor to ceiling windows, walk in shower and underfloor heating.

"And what about my mutt?" I hear you cry. Well, two pets are allowed to join you, at a modest £30 each.

Located not far from Brighton, this is a great basecamp top explore East Sussex and the delights of the South Downs National Park.

We'd advise a last-minute booking for December or January to anyone hunting a good bargain at this lush property.

Rockstar-themed caravan: Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, Isle of Wight

Your four-legged friend may well feel like a true rockstar after a stay in this Lincolnshire lodge. A whopping seven guests can join you here, to enjoy the music-themed decor, 55-inch TV and outdoor hot tub.

Your pooch is most welcome here, with two pets allowed at £55 per week or £35 per short break.

There's heaps going on at the holiday park this lodge is located in, with an adventure golf course, spa, sauna and a lake for jet skiing just some of the things on offer.

You can grab a bargain by travelling from January-March, with February currently offering the best rates.
