If you don't much like people, or really just want some 'me time' then have a gander at this stunning off-grid and remote cabin we have found hiding deep in Scotland (north of Inverness).

It can sleep up to four but we think it's probably better for two.

If you are happy to book a non-refundable stay then there's money to be saved on some last-minute bookings in July -- stay for two nights from £279* per booking (it's £299 if you want to be able to cancel).

It's within 62 acres of private land, so you don't need to worry too much about neighbours.

Availability a bit limited during the summer, but there's plenty from the end of September onwards and into 2023.

About your stay

The stunning cabin was lovingly hand-built by the owners originally for personal use but now they are sharing it with the public.

It has a comfy bed, a wood-burning stove, running water and a fully kitted kitchen to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We really like the outside deck -- it looks perfect for a relaxing glass of wine while you soak up the beautiful surroundings.
