Pirates, stay for a few nights at this utterly gorgeous over-water lodge in Shropshire just near the border with Wales.
The chalet-style lodge features a balcony that sits over the adjourning pond and even has a hot tub -- some might even say it's a bit like the Maldives! Sort of. Ish.
We've found discounts on stays throughout the year. The date we've pulled out - £499 for a 4-night stay - is for October, when it's not freezing. You can go in November and December for less, though.
