We thought rates this low were a thing of the past for central London
From £71 per night
Remember 2021? We were coming out of the worst of the pandemic and hotels were hurting, especially in London — a city massively reliant on international visitors (who couldn't fly in) and business travellers (who were working from home in their PJs). Getting a central hotel for under £100 per night was a doddle. Heck, £79 wasn't that hard to find. Fast forward to 2022 and a room in Zone 1 for less than £179 is a small miracle.
This is why we were chuffed to find rates from £71 per night to stay within ten minutes' walk of Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St James' Park, and Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Honestly, we didn't think prices this low still existed for central London.
Of course, at that price you're not staying at The Savoy, but at the budget Hub by Premier Inn London Westminster Abbey. Saying this, the location's great and the hotel gets a lot of love online with a 4.5/5 rating on Tripadvisor and a 9.1/10 rating on Trivago.
