School summer holidays: Hayling island 4-night getaway

Pirates, if you're looking for a last-minute slice of coast without the price tag (or the fuss of jumping on a flight), then we've found a holiday park on the Hampshire coast.

Hayling Island Holiday Park is an award-winning family-friendly resort between Portsmouth and Chichester offering a leisurely stay close to the coast. There's plenty to keep both adults and kids entertained: a heated indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool, kids club, nature trail and amusement arcade, to name a few.

There's multiple accommodation options depending on your group size, but we've found a six-person caravan just shy of £300 and that's for the summer school holidays. Broken down, that's £12 each per night.
