You can stay at in a luxe four-person pavilion from £234 a night. Decked in traditional pin-stripe, you can live out your medieval fantasy with a glam twist (modern day conveniences are essential, after all).

On the inside, you've got antique-style furniture and luxe furnishings (including a 4-poster bed) that hark back to Tudor England - quite fitting, considering you're on the grounds of a castle that's stood for centuries.

Of course, it's not the the pavilion you're staying for. During your time here, you'll have complimentary access to the castle, being able to take in its history, art and furniture as you take a tour.

There's around 500 acres of private land to explore, and as a guest, you can roam the site out of hours away from the crowds. Other activities that you can partake in include getting lost in a maze, watching a live jousting event, give your hand a go at falconing, and roasting marshmellows over a campfire.
