Sail-ebrate the good times with a boatel stay
From £59 per night
Pirates, we've a longing to get back onto the open sea - but this boat stay in Wales might well cure our seaside cravings.
This one of a kind, rustic upturned boat the Welsh countryside has to be seen to be believed. Located in the Dyfi Valley Biosphere, a night here will only set you back £59 TOTAL, how does that float your boat?
Availability is great and prices are stable throughout the year, and it's the same price during the week and on weekends!
An accommodation unlike anything we've ever seen, the owners describe it as a 'boat roofed shed' with a bed!
The boatel is set in an acre of wild flowers, up a mountain in the beautiful Dyfi Valley Biosphere in Wales. Guests can look across to see Cader Idris mountains (which is part of the Cambrian Mountains of Snowdonia).
Outside, there is a field kitchen styled like a 1950's diner and a compost loo for that ultimate rustic experience.
The Boatel was built in 2012 using recycled materials. There's a cosy bed inside, a gas hob with two rings and a grill.
The boat is perfect for anyone looking to escape into nature, and just look at the stargazing opportunity you'll get too!
