Located just outside Cancun, in the quiet residential area of Isla Mujeres, is a unique masterpiece of architecture. The house was designed by Raquel and Eduardo Ocampo, who created the eccentric home for the Mexican surrealist painter Octavio Ocampo, Eduardo's brother.
Influenced by the many seashells all around, the house features a spiral staircase inside the shell, a door where the mouth of the shell was and windows in the form of shells.
The Seashell House has Caribbean views, a private pool and is a short distance to the beach. As it's a residential area, you can get around by hiring a golf cart!
Inside the conch, the decor reflects the sea theme - with unique artworks and features.
Imagine getting the gang together and taking over the whole Seashell House on a Mexico blowout!
You'll feel like Poseidon after a nap in the king-size beds here.
Mirror mirror, on the wall, is this the most beautiful house of all?
There's even a shower shell!
