Pirates, if Belgrade is on your list and you want to do it on a budget, then we've found a pretty cool hostel on trivago for under £50 per night!

ArkaBarka is a floating hostel on Belgrade's river, and has all the backpacker vibes you'd expect - making it a great way to meet other traveller's if you venture solo.

As for Belgrade, Serbia's capital is a hidden gem: visit the Belgrade Fortress (where you can even do a bit of archery), see the Nikolai Tessla museum, or find some green in the city at Tasmajdan Park.

The price also includes breakfast, making this even better value, and the weekend prices are pretty similar to weekdays - meaing it doesn't really matter when you travel!
