The Potamitis Windmills are two family-run windmills on a spectacular cliff top location in the north of the island.

The prices we have seen in September and October are surprisingly cheap from £111 per night for the white windmill and from £155 per night for the stone windmill.

There's a restaurant on-site and a 255-step staircase leading you down from the cliffs to the sea with sunbeds provided.

You're a short distance to local boat tours that will take you to the blue caves and the famous shipwreck beach.
