Pirates, Scotland is full of historic castles, deep lochs and cosy accommodation to hunker down in with a dram of whisky and an open fire.

Which is why this distinctive spot caught our eye: a bridge house that spans the River Ardle. It's got the classic log burning stove, a stone spiral staircase and, of course, a lush sauna for the ultimate indulgence.

For £85* per person (based on four people sharing) you can spend the night here. This property is so popular, it's mostly sold out until September.

There's a discount if you stay for more than one night, too.

Built in 1881, The Bridge House is a unique 2-bed house in the middle of the Scottish countryside (around an hour from Dundee).

Inside you've got historic features, such as Scottish timber clad walls and stone flooring - as well as a loo directly above the river below!

The place has got all the essentials too: king-size four poster bed, full kitchen and the ever so needed sauna.

And when you wake up each morning, how about a coffee by the ramparts? Yeah, sign me up.

Additional Information

*We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
