Welcome to the 4⭐️ Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, featuring rooms made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Don't worry warm rooms are offered too! The hotel features a bookable sauna experience with a sauna, wood-burning hot tub and ice bath.

Each chilly room, which maintains a temperature between -5 and -8 degrees Celsius, has its own unique theme with hand-carved ice furnishings designed by international artists.

The best rates we could find are for the end of April, when the Northern light season has come to an end. So if you're wanting to see the Northern Lights it might be worth paying a bit extra and travel sometime in March.

If you opt for the cold room experience, prices start from £797 per night. But if you want to save some cash and have a warmer stay, you can book the warm rooms from £119 per night. Which still offers a great experience, as all guests can enjoy a complimentary entrance ticket to the Icehotel.

The Icehotel has an on-site restaurant, serving traditional dishes made with locally produced ingredients. You can relax with hot drinks in the warm lounge, or enjoy cocktails served in ice glasses in the freezing Icebar.

During summer season, you will experience midnight sun. In the winter, you might be able to enjoy the northern lights! The best time to see the Northern Lights in Sweden is between September and March. The staff at Icehotel are extremely friendly and helpful, and will happily let you know what time and night you'd have the highest possibility to see them.

The area around the property is great for nature lovers who enjoy outdoor activities. Here you'll be able to enjoy activities such as river rafting, hiking, fishing and snowmobile tours.

As you can see, this four-star hotel is a dreamy winter holiday. Of course, the price for such a stay doesn't come cheap. The cheapest rates we could find are for April from £119 per night. But compared to the rates that climb over £200 for the same room, a few weeks earlier, this price isn't bad.

Additional Information

We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
