We have chosen our top 10 tree houses in the UK, from kooky to romantic, whatever you're looking for, we've got a tree top accommodation for you.

The Kooky one

Kudhva - Cornwall

Switch off from the modern world in the stunningly designed Kudhvas. Split over 4 accommodations, each with it's own view.Inside the cabin you will find a seating area, floor to ceiling windows, a mezzanine bed and some extra cosy features. There is a shared bathroom block not far away. On site there is a bar, fire pit area - with firewood for purchase on site, a kitchen area and free parking.

The Rustic one

West Lexham Treehouses - Norfolk

Located in the countryside just outside Kings Lynn, lies West Lexham Treehouses - the perfect UK getaway for you and a bunch of friends or even the little ones. There are a number of tree houses to choose from, each sleeping from 2-6 people. Each tree house has a sleeping and dining/ sitting room with kitchen area. Some boast a log fire for those chillier evenings. There is a clean and modern shower and toilet block close by. The site also offers a range of glamping experiences, cabins and cottages for you to choose from.

The Unique one

Phoenix Tree - Wales

There's loads of amenities provided for you in the Phoenix Tree, from an open oven, making the whole place super cosy. For al fresco dining a BBQ is also provided. Views from the lofted bedroom area are amazing and stretch over the surrounding countryside On an evening, after a day of exploring the local area, head to the Japanese style hot tub to unwind.

The Lake Clevelymere Lodges & Treehouse - Lancashire

Right by the lake and across the rope bridge lies this spectacular treehouse. Build to the highest of specs, expect nothing but the best from your stay here. Bringing the kids? There is a whole host of gadgets to keep them entertained - if the weather turns against you - such as a Nintendo Wii and huge TV. If the sun does decide to shine for you, make the most of all the outdoor activities there are for you to enjoy such as pedalos, bikes, kayaks and even your own row boat!

The Birdbox - Dorset

Surrounded by it's own patch of green oasis, the Birdbox sits upon a raised deck - perfect for al fresco dining if the weather allows. The Birdbox lies on the Yurt Retreat resort close to Yeovil and Weymouth. Once you open the front door to the treehouse, you'll be met with a modern interior with large windows making the most of the natural light. There is a fully equipped kitchen and open air living space. There is also WiFi available. There is 1 spacious double bedroom with plush bedding. There is an on site sauna which requires pre booking and an honesty box donation.

Trewalter Treehouse - Wales

You've got everything you need with here including a stylish interior, plush bedroom, hot tub and even a rope bridge to a raised al fresco dining platform! Feel like the royalty of the castle as this is your own private (timber) palace. But just because this is a treehouse, it does not mean that you get to miss out on all the mod cons like with full facilities such as electricity, WiFi, a Smart TV and a fitted kitchen with dishwasher. But it's outside, through the woodland and over the swinging bridge where the jewel in the treehouse's crown shines... the exquisite outdoor hot tub. Perfect with a glass of bubbles after a long day of exploring the surrounding countryside.

The Treehouse - Cornwall

All you need to do is check out the images of The Treehouse at Clowance and you'll fall in love with this unique accommodation. Peering into the treetops of Cornwall, this stunning accommodation sets itself apart from all the other staycations. The interior is modern but still in-keeping with the surrounding nature, with large windows making the most of the leafy exterior. Comprised of an open living, kitchen dining area and 2 plush bedrooms, this kooky residence gives you everything you need for a cosy stay. You'll get use of the on site hot tub and there is also an external copper bath tub!

The Romantic one

Woodside Bay Treehouse - Isle of Wight

Now here is something truly special Pirates. Looking like something out of a Disney film or fairytale, this magical treehouse sits on the Isle of Wight and could be the location of your next staycation. Climb up the winding staircase to your private balcony before heading inside to a beautiful interior. With everything you need for a cosy stay. Everywhere you look around the circular accommodation is stylish. There are modern copper accents in the bathroom, plush soft furnishings in the sleeping and living areas as well as everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen. The jewel in the crown of this treehouse is the private outdoor hot tub where you can chill out after a day of exploring and relaxing.

The Design one

Cheriton TreeHouse - Somerset

Located in Somerset's Blackmore Vale, this stunning treehouse is the ideal location for your next romantic staycation. The large feature windows feel like they are bringing in the surrounding nature views inside. There are also 2 viewing platforms. There is a large fully equipped kitchen provided so you can whip up a storm, or, if you fancy someone else doing the dishes, there are a number of eateries close by. Or you can opt for a hamper when you book. For those chillier days, there is a log burner in the spacious living area, as well as an underfloor heating system. The stand out feature for the property is the large copper bath tub, sat right next to the window, you can have a relaxing soak whilst watching the local birdlife dance outside.

The Expensive one

Woodman's Treehouse - Dorset

Woodman's Treehouse is a stylish combination of sustainable wood craftsmanship and luxurious interiors – with a playful touch. Kitted out with an exceptional array of mod-cons (yes flushing loo, electricity and bedlinen included of course) you will have your own sauna and hot tub on the upper spa deck, a revolving woodburner, a deck with a fire pit and BBQ, an open air tree-shower on a huge second deck and a stainless steel slide. This is next level glamping – in the very literal meaning of the word! The treehouse has a fire pit and barbecue for outdoor cooking experiments, and there's a large BBQ in the Woodland Kitchen. Crafty Camping's clay pizza oven can't be beaten. There's a small honesty shop on-site where you can buy many varieties of local cider, and locally-made charcoal for your barbecue as well as the pizza dough and you can pick up more provisions at the local Thorncombe Village Shop, just 2 miles away, which sells local produce, with a small deli counter.
